Description
If your machine is experiencing idle quality issues here is how you test it.
- Start the engine and let it warm up good
- spray the rubber intake boots with carburetor cleaner where the intake connects to the cylinder head.
- If you notice a change in rpm up or down when you spray it then you have a vacuum leak.
- Vacuum leaks are VERY common due to cracked boots or not sealing against the cylinder head surface.
